Elmgreen & Dragset plaatsen hobbelpaard op de Fourth Plinth

Londen | Vanaf donderdag 23 februari 2012 prijkt op de illustere Fourth Plinth op Trafalgar Square een jongen op een hobbelpaard gemaakt door Michael Elmgreen en Ingar Dragset. Het werk Powerless Structure Fig 101 zal op de plaats komen waar nu Yinka Shonibares werk Nelson's Ship in a Bottle te zien is.

Bonkers

Elmgreen vertelde the Guardian over het productieproces en wat zijn mening is in de Hockney vs Hirst-controverse: "We love to do these multiple collaborations. I think artists always did. It's bonkers when conservative critics blame artists for not making their own work today, because they never could. You can't run a foundry on your own. No one ever did that."
